Kombat Global and the Professional Taekwondo Federation are pleased to announce the appointment of Jeon Ho as Chief of Staff, effective immediately.
The appointment, made by President Rick W. Shin, reflects the continued global expansion of both organizations and their shared commitment to advancing Taekwondo and combat sports through strong governance, professionalism, and international collaboration.
Mr. Jeon Ho brings with him more than 30 years of experience in martial arts and is widely recognized as a respected coach, leader, and technical expert within the global Taekwondo community. He previously served as National Team Coach of the Peru Taekwondo Federation, where he played a key role in strengthening the country’s high-performance programs and international competitiveness. Under his leadership, Peru achieved its first-ever medals at the World Poomsae Championships, marking a historic milestone for the nation.
A 7th Dan Black Belt, Mr. Jeon is known for his deep expertise across traditional Taekwondo, elite competitive Taekwondo, and the evolving professional combat sports landscape. His contributions have significantly impacted athlete development, referee education, and coaching standards throughout the Pan American region and beyond.
In his role as Chief of Staff, Mr. Jeon will oversee operational coordination for both PTF and Kombat Global across multiple continents. His responsibilities include supporting professional events, referee and technical education, licensing systems, strategic partnerships, and global relations. He will work closely with senior leadership to drive expansion initiatives across Asia, Europe, Pan America, and Africa, while enhancing organizational efficiency and international cooperation.
Fluent in Spanish, Korean, Japanese, and English, Mr. Jeon brings strong cross-cultural communication capabilities, enabling effective coordination with international stakeholders, partners, and national federations.
This appointment underscores Kombat Global’s vision of building a unified international martial arts ecosystem, connecting professional and traditional sectors while raising global standards in competition, education, and governance.
