Rick W. Shin, President of Kombat Global, held a productive meeting in Phnom Penh with Khov Chhay, President of the Kun Khmer Federation and Secretary General of the Royal Cambodia Armed Forces Sport Council, as part of Kombat Global’s ongoing international expansion efforts.
The discussions focused on the growth of combat sports and the potential for future international collaboration, aligning with Kombat Global’s broader strategy to expand its global footprint across Asia and other key international markets.
During the visit, President Rick W. Shin conducted venue inspections and assessments of sports facilities across Cambodia as part of Kombat Global’s evaluation of potential host cities for future professional events. The visit also highlighted the cultural significance of Kun Khmer, Cambodia’s historic national martial art, which remains a central pillar of the country’s martial arts heritage and identity.
Kombat Global’s professional events are broadcast internationally through major media platforms, reaching audiences across multiple regions. These events play an important role in promoting martial arts culture, sports diplomacy, and international engagement, while also delivering tangible benefits such as sports tourism and economic impact for host nations.
