Ronnie Liew is a respected martial artist and leader dedicated to the growth and advancement of Taekwondo in Singapore and across the region. As the president of Kombat Taekwondo Singapore, he champions a bold and innovative approach to martial arts through the exciting, full-contact format of Kombat Taekwondo—merging tradition with modern combat sport dynamics.
He holds an 8th Dan in Kombat Taekwondo and a 4th Dan certification from Kukkiwon, and is a certified NCAP Level 2 Coach as well as a Poomsae Level 2 Coach. With these qualifications, Ronnie actively contributes to both the technical and developmental aspects of the sport, mentoring athletes and coaches alike.
Ronnie’s vision is to build a strong foundation for Kombat Taekwondo in Singapore, elevate competitive standards, and offer new opportunities for practitioners to test their skills in a dynamic and global arena. Through leadership, education, and community engagement, he continues to inspire a new generation of martial artists to excel with discipline, integrity, and resilience.
