The memorandum outlines an ambitious plan for cooperation that includes:

The agreement, which is initially valid for three years and automatically renews for an additional two-year period unless terminated with one month’s notice, underscores the commitment of both parties to advance Taekwondo on a global scale.

Rick W. Shin commented, “This pact is a decisive step forward in expanding the influence of Taekwondo and, specifically, Kombat Taekwondo in Uzbekistan—a country with tremendous sports potential.” Mr. Kasymov, who also serves as President of Kombat Taekwondo Uzbekistan is also ITF Uzbekistan President, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, emphasizing the benefits of a joint effort in raising the standards of the sport.

Gayrat Kasymov is also ITF Uzbekistan President (International Taekwon-do Federation).
